We are offering a repair service for your Mercedes W204, W207, W212 ELV/ESL. The Mercedes steering lock by default was a poor design resulting in premature failure. You may be experiencing any of the following faults

Common Faults:

- Key does not turn in the ignition.

- The steering remains in locked position when the key is inserted.

- The ignition key turns, however there is no ignition, no lights illuminate.

- The steering lock is off with no key in the ignition.

- The ignition/starting of the vehicle is temperamental.

- Sometimes works, Sometimes Cannot start.

The following Diagnostic Trouble codes may be stored in the vehicle

- A22449 - The electronic ignition lock has a malfunction. There is an internal electrical fault.

- A25407 - The electric steering lock has a malfunction. There is a mechanical fault.

- A25408 - The electric steering lock malfunction. There is a signal fault or the message is faulty.

- A25409 - The electric steering lock has a malfunction. There is a component fault.

- A25464 - The electric steering lock has a malfunction. There is an implausible signal.

We are offering to provide a solid resolution so this does not happen again in the future. We will program an Emulator for you which will replace the faulty steering lock, and get you back on the road. The emulator will not suffer problems as the original ELV does as its design is different and made to be fail safe. This will be plug & play - No coding/Programming needed.

Note: If your steering is locked, the emulator will not unlock the steering, you MUST first have the steering in the unlocked position or manually release it. Using the emulator the steering will not lock - This function is disabled - The emulator is completely safe and does not compromise your vehicle security as it is cryptographically married to your Ignition lock barrel (EZS | EIS).

Option 1: Send your ignition barrel (where you insert the key), The ELV (steering lock module) and 1 working key.

The replacement emulator will be programmed, Tested on the bench and returned same day after receiving the payment from the customer.

All customer contents are returned using the Royal Mail Special delivery service. Your parts are insured and guaranteed to be with you the next day before 1pm.

Option 2: Contact us on and make an appointment with us to bring your EIS and 1 key to our workshop. We will program an emulator and test it on our bench within 1 hour while you wait.
